We are very happy to announce OBEY to the Enso roster.
We have been fans of this band for awhile now, and cant wait to get stuck in with these guys.
Hard Rock juggernauts Obey have come a long way since forming back in the winter of 2008, releasing 3 albums, winning 2011’s Surface Festival at the Millenium Dome in London, Marshall’s Best Guitarist 2012 and 2015’s Metal to the Masses to then grace the stage at Bloodstock, and also playing the Movember opening and closing ceremonies at the Koko and the Roundhouse in London, the O2 Arena Birmingham, Sziget Festival Budapest. Obey underwent a lineup change in 2015 and with it their sound evolved and and grew into what is ‘Maelstrom’, their 2016 release. Obey take their influences from Sabbath, Mastodon, Clutch, Pantera and Hendrix to name but a few. They are currently working on a new album with producer Sam Bloor at Lower Lane Studios. Reviews: “The final band of the evening, in the competition that is, was Obey. Why do I feel I have to say the name in a deep aggressive voice, maybe it is the Zakk Wylde influence I felt there was. Obey probably had the largest number of fans in the room and since their formation in 2008 have built up quite a following in the Stoke on Trent area. The guitars are straight out of the Black Sabbath rule of guitars and the look as well I think. I certainly really enjoyed watching these guys and if you see them tour near you I recommend you go and see them.” Paul Marshall – The Marshall Ultimate Band Competition 2012.
